New Technologies in Education is an annual show about the use of information and communications technologies (ICT) at all levels of education. 3rd “New Technologies in Education” conference & Fair” is scheduled for 26 and 27 February 2016 in Belgrade, Serbia.
New Technologies in Education was initiated two years ago, aiming to improve the quality of the education systems in South East Europe (SEE) by bridging the gap between the ICT and education sector. Along with identifying favourable momentum, organisers gathered all institutional decision makers. Accordingly, the New Technologies in Education is led by the British Council Serbia, and organised in British Council’s and UKTI’s cooperation with the lead sectorial bodies of the Serbian Government: Social Inclusion and Poverty Reduction Unit, the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development, the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications, the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and other partners.
For your reference, please see some of the quotes from the UK exhibitors at the New Technologies in Education 2015.
DK: Hugely successful event: It was informative, inspiring and perfectly organised event. The contacts we made are even more promising than we had expected.
University of Wolverhampton: We were able to make some excellent connections. All in all a very useful couple of days and our business solutions team will be returning shortly I think.
Steljes: We found the event to have been worthwhile and will surely attend next year. We met the right people and were bowled over by the obvious enthusiasm of all the delegates to make real and lasting improvements to Education in Serbia and beyond with ICT at the centre of this.
In 2016, organisers expect to have over 60 exhibitors, over 60 lecturers from UK, Serbia and from the SEE and over 4,000 guests (from state and private schools, universities, HR professionals, academies, education professionals and others). This is the only large scale event in the region which links ICT companies to education providers.
Thanks to the GREAT campaign, UKTI and British Council Serbia may offer a set of benefits to the UK companies willing to attend the 3rd New Technologies in Education in February 2016.
