The BSCC was proud to have been able to support the charity fundraiser held by HRH Crown Princess Katharine and her charity, Lifeline Humanitarian Organisation, to raise funds for special needs children in Serbia. This fundraiser was in the form of a cocktail reception and charity auction. There were nine items for guests to bid on: five oil paintings donated by the exceptional Serbian artist Cile Marinkovic, whose works have just recently been exhibited in Paris, and four dresses from Roksanda Ilincic, the famous international Serbian designer that has dressed many famous women including Michelle Obama, Melania Trump, the Duchess of Cambridge, Oscar winning actress Cate Blanchett. The cocktail party atmosphere was made joyful by the wonderful musical accompaniment of pianists Nikola Avramovic and Aleksandar Pavlovic, students of the Royal Academy of Music.
The BSCC team provided support from the gallery preview to the event itself working hard with Lifeline to ensure that Her Royal Highness’s event would be a success.
Chairman Sir Paul Judge attended both the preview, where he was presented with a monograph on Cile Marinkovic by his daughter Dana and also attended the Cocktail and the Fundraiser itself. We would like to thank directors Jadranka Dervisevic Kitaric and Igor Orlic as well Mrs Orlic and team members Tijana Delic and Tatjana Mitevska who provided much assistance on the night.
